The Two Brothers Racing M style canisters feature a magnesium end cap that is angled to point in a direction suitable to the motorcycle's design. The end cap is easily removable with gold anodized Allen screws, allowing access to an optional gold anodized P1-R insert that quiets the motorcycle exhaust note with no significant loss in power. The P1-Rs are $29.95 (each) and can be added to the purchase price, if desired. There is also a gold anodized ring that separates the canister body from the end cap adding to the trick and unique look of the motorcycle muffler. Their M series motorcycle mufflers come in two sizes, the M2 (small oval) and M5 (large oval) for most bikes. The M2 measures 4.85 by 3.75 inches and the M5 5.375 by 4 inches. They are vertically mounted for most side-motorcycle muffler designs and horizontal for many undertail applications. For some bikes, they do a C4 round motorcycle muffler that measures 4.5 inches in diameter with an aluminum turn-own endcap. There are no performance or sound differences between the sizes, it is purely for personal preference. Most M series motorcycle mufflers use the V.A.L.E. (Variable Axis Locking motorcycle exhaust ) mounting system that securely mounts the canister to the mid section without springs for a more secure, leak-free fit. Canisters are available in polished (chrome-like) aluminum finish, flat metal finished titanium and their distinctive triangular filament wound carbon fiber. The carbon fiber cans also absorb heat, making them much less likely to burn skin or heat body work.
